ANHE Policy/Advocacy Workgroup

The focus of the Education Workgroup is to bring the voice of nursing to local, state, and national environmental health policy and advocacy initiatives. The workgroup will utilize the e-Commons.org website to better coordinate overall nursing efforts and to engage nurses in policy and advocacy who are not currently engaged. Any nurse who is interested in environmental health is welcome to participate in the Alliance’s activities and work groups.
The Policy/Advocacy Workgroup, currently co-chaired by Mary Jane Williams PhD, RN of the University of Hartford College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions and Kathy Curtis, LPN of the  The JustGreen Partnership meets the first Thursday of the month from 3-4 PM (Eastern). Minutes from previous meetings, contact information for members; conference call information, and the agenda, date and time of the next meeting are all posted on this blog.
