ANHE Education Workgroup

The focus of the Education Workgroup is to integrate environmental health content into all levels of nursing curriculum, including basic, advanced, and continuing education. This will include developing a virtual “e-text” in Environmental Health and Nursing, incorporating environmental health content on the NCLEX and other certifying exams, developing a white paper following up the IOM report, and connecting with nursing students. As a recognized nurse educator focused on environmental health, we would be delighted if you would consider joining the Education Workgroup. The Workgroup, currently co-chaired by Dr. Jeanne Leffers at University of Massachusetts and Patti Gates-Smith, MSN, RNC at PA State Nurses Association, meets the first Wednesday of the month.
